ALSAS: Advanced Linux System Adminstration Seminar

SWIFT will be holding the ALSAS from 9 am until 4 pm Oct 24th and 25th in C4-027. ALSAS is the Advanced Linux System Adminstration Seminar designed to enhance marketable skills using the command line interface to accomplish standard industry tasks.

Some of the topics included will be setting up VPN (Virtual Private Network) servers to connect directly to your network using varied protocols, ip and Linux routing, effective Apache 2 webserver fielding, DNS server setup, and quite a bit more.

We’d like to see you out for the event, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the ongoing SWIFT community service project to help combat the “digital divide” that is growing with the propagation of technology.

If pre-registered, cost is $20 for both days for non-members, and $15 for both days for members. One day cost is $15 for either day ($10 for non-members). Lunch will be provided.
