Ever wonder what it would be like to use Linux on your computer? Have you tried it, but couldn't get everything to work quite right? If you're interested in learning more about how to use Linux as an alternative operating system for everyday use, come to the Linux Installfest where SWIFT will help you get your desktop or laptop up and running with the Linux distribution of your choice (or our suggestion!). This is a great opportunity to get started with Linux in an environment where experienced students are willing to help you get your computer to be fully functional under Linux.
